Celebrities reveal their rides

It’s well known that people who are passionate about their work tend to do well at it and rise to the top. And so it is with the folk that WANTED is being called on to feature in a new series of online videos called Stars and their cars. Produced on behalf of NZME. for their specialist motoring brand Driven, these 3-minute videos feature a high-profile New Zealand media personality and their car. Why?

Because people who are passionate about their work are usually passionate about other aspects of their lives, and vehicles are a common outlet for this enthusiasm.

Understanding who these individuals are and what they drive means that each video needs to be authentic to the star’s character. The selection of an appropriate music style is the best place to start and always helps in establishing a unique look and feel to the videos.
Mel Homer is a DJ on radio station, Mix 98.2, and drives a very cool Holden HQ Premier wagon. She’s bright and bubbly and very fizzy about her car and I’m happy that we manage to capture that in her video. WANTED will be showcasing more Stars and their cars so audiences will get to know a little bit more about what makes these people tick (and idle, and roar, and screech, and rumble).
