Everybody wants to be trusted, right? Whether it’s a commercial entity connecting with stakeholders, or an individual reaching out to friends, a key part of success online needs the viewer to trust what they’re experiencing through their screen.
Without trust the message just won’t get through.
Video’s unbeatable for delivering engaging messages, but it’s got to be done right.
It’s essential that anyone fronting the camera appears comfortable, confident and completely honest.
My job is to get relaxed and believable performances from everyone who ends up on video. To help I reassure them that I’m there to make them look and sound as good as they ever will.
I put time and effort into getting to know them so they can trust me to bring out their best when on-camera.
I’ve got to preserve their dignity and embrace their humanity… essentially honour them.
